About us

Slated Row is a community special school for children and young people aged 4 to 19. We cater for up to 228 pupils with moderate to complex special educational needs.

The school occupies two attractive sites. The first is situated in Old Wolverton on the edge of Milton Keynes and the second in Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes. The Wolverton Campus (the original school) caters for pupils from Reception to Year 9, while the Kents Hill Campus (opened in January 2018) has Years 10 to 14.

Slated Row is a Local Authority maintained school, managing a delegated budget. We are one of six special schools which fall within the Milton Keynes unitary authority.

Children come to the school from many parts of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Most come by minibus or taxi which are provided by the Local Authority (where pupils meet the Local Authority criteria). Older pupils if appropriate are encouraged to travel on public transport with the use of bus passes to aid their independence.

We are part of the Aspire Federation, Milton Keynes. For more information about the federation click here
